Bubu Dudu Birthday Ideas: Cake Designs, Wishes, Cards & Gifts
The easiest way to plan a Bubu Dudu birthday is to pick one centrepiece (usually a themed cake with Bubu and Dudu figures on top), add a handwritten card with a cute birthday wish, and finish with a gift they can keep, like a plushie or a night light. This Bubu Dudu birthday guide walks you through cake designs, birthday wishes, card ideas, simple decorations and gifts sorted by size, so you can plan the whole celebration in one afternoon.
It works for a partner, a best friend, a sibling or a child who loves the panda Bubu and the bear Dudu (also called Yier).

Bubu Dudu Birthday Cake Design Ideas
"Bubu Dudu birthday cake" is one of the most searched ideas for this theme, and for good reason: the round, simple shapes of the characters look adorable on frosting. Here are five designs that any local bakery can make.
- The cuddle cake. A round cake in soft pastel frosting with Bubu and Dudu figures hugging in the middle and "Happy Birthday, my Bubu" piped around the edge.
- The bento cake. A small lunch-box cake for two with a simple face drawn on top. Bento cakes are popular for couples because they are small, cheap to make and very photogenic.
- The picnic cake. Green "grass" frosting, a tiny checked blanket made of fondant, and the figures sitting side by side with a mini cake of their own.
- The bubble tea cake. Brown and cream frosting with "boba pearls" made from chocolate balls, inspired by the characters' love of snacks. Pair it with the Boba Dudu and Bubu plush (about 20 cm) as the gift.
- The two-tier party cake. For a bigger party, a two-tier cake with the figures on top and edible confetti down the sides.
Using figurines as a cake topper
Instead of fondant characters, many fans place real collectible figures on top of the cake and keep them afterwards as a souvenir. Good options from our Bubu and Dudu figurines collection:
- Dudu Bubu Figure: available as single characters or as a Dudu and Bubu set.
- Cartoon Dudu and Bubu Figurines: about 9 x 7.5 cm, in yellow, green, red or blue, or as a set of four.
- Dudu and Bubu Riding Figurines: a 2-piece set, with or without little wings.
Food-safety tip: figurines are toys, not cake decorations. Wash them, then set them on a small piece of baking paper or a clean cake board on top of the frosting, and remove them before cutting.
Bubu Dudu Birthday Wishes You Can Copy

Bubu Dudu Birthday Card Ideas
- Handmade pop-up card. Print a photo of the two of you, cut out your faces and glue them onto a simple panda and bear drawing.
- Acrylic keepsake card. Write your message on paper and slip it behind one of the Dudu and Bubu acrylic cards, sold individually (A to E) or as a set of five.
- Video card. A custom Dudu and Bubu video lets the characters "say" happy birthday, with standard or super-fast delivery options.
Easy Bubu and Dudu Party Decorations
You don't need a party shop. Choose one of these colour themes and stick to it:
- Classic: brown, cream and white, matching the characters' fur.
- Pastel: pink, baby blue and white, great for photos.
- Cosy night: warm fairy lights plus a Bubu and Dudu night light as the table centrepiece.
Line up plushies on the sofa as "guests", hang a Dudu and Bubu poster (30 x 45 cm) behind the cake table as a photo backdrop, and serve drinks in Bubu and Dudu mugs and cups.
